- due to its heavy-duty construction, which heats evenly, the baking will be superb, without any hot spots that could burn the baked goods in certain spots
- the even baking is indeed an essential feature and the Farberware delivers it with every baking session

- the price is unbelievable, it’s really incredibly cheap – I think it used to be a bit more expensive but, at the time of writing this Farberware 9-Inch Nonstick Springform Baking Pan review, the price is phenomenal, I hope it stays that way

- no warping will be happening
- dark sides with light silver bottom, it will cook the crust evenly, no hot spots
- it looks great, it inspires quality
- bakes evenly
- great nonstick coating, it will be very easy to clean
- it doesn’t claim to be leak proof and, indeed, it’s not but it’s pretty close – if you use a water bath just wrap the bottom with aluminum foil (double layer preferably) and you can also line the bottom with parchment paper
- that should be the case with any best springform pan – it’s a norm and everyone should do it, don’t just expect it not to leak at all, not even a single drop of water can get it, it’s not going to happen

- this is another highly popular best springform pan
- I’m not saying it’s not deserving of that popularity but it’s not my favorite, either, I would call it a top contender
- made of aluminum
- dark colored, it tends to overbake a bit
- it claims to be leak proof, is it so?
- it’s definitely not leakproof
- some manufacturers lay down that claim directly while others don’t mention it at all – I think that’s misleading because any pan of this sort will leak, some just a tiny bit, others a lot – I expect those who claim the leak-proof feature to cause the absolute minimum of leaks, that’s it
- nevertheless, don’t forget about wrapping the bottom with aluminum foil
- nonstick coating be careful not to scratch it
- there aren’t many people who don’t appreciate the products from Nordic Ware, they’re of excellent quality, always impressive, they also have an amazing popover pan

- nonstick coating
- even baking – if it absorbs too much heat, it can overbake the edges
Choose a Leakproof Springform Pan
The most important thing is to look for one that doesn’t leak.
There’s no such thing as an entirely leakproof springform pan but some are definitely better than others.
Making sure it leaks as little as possible is the first feature you should take into consideration, it’s a top priority.
You don’t want to mess up your oven and kitchen with leaking batter.
Some recipes require the baking to be done in a water bath – you don’t water leaking in, that will ruin the crust, it will become a spongy mess.
When you’re cooking in a water bath, there’s a solution for preventing the water from getting in: wrapping the bottom of the pan in aluminum foil about half-way up the sides, it’s a trick used by everyone.
Using two layers of foil would be best, just to be completely sure.
You can also put parchment paper on the bottom and then lower the ring so that the place were the bottom and the ring come together is sealed thanks to the parchment paper trapped between the two.
It would be such a shame to have all your work go to waste, many people get completely disappointed after such an experience. It’s best to prevent it from happening to you, too.
It’s best to go with double wrapping from the start, why risk it?
Test how much a springform pan leaks and where it leaks from by filling it with water.
It would give you a general idea but it won’t be the same because batter is definitely thicker than water.
The pan won’t leak as much batter as it does water.
